Write about a memorable family meal.
Seein' that I'm not gonna thank anyone. Nor am I gonna touch the somethin' old, somethin' new, or somethin' borrowed topic with a bleedin' ten foot pole. Brings up too many bad memories about the whole almost marryin' Buffy thing.
So think I'll write about a memorable family meal. Forget the fact I don't have a family. My family died a long time ago. Anyway, sadly the most memorable meal I ever had was a bit on the crappy side. Let's just say that Thanksgivin' with the Scoobies wasn't all its cracked up to be. Neither the Slayer, nor Giles was the most friendly of sort. Least not to an unwanted house guest. So the Thanksgivin' I got stuck at old Rupert's home was memorable. Had a big Turkey Dinner with all the trimmings. Course was hard to enjoy the damn meal, with me bein' tied up and all. Long story. Also hard to enjoy the occasion with Indian ghosts and a really big bear tryin' to kill everyone. Gettin' shot by bloody arrows from said pissed off Indians wasn't very fun either.
You might ask, was there anything good that I got from said experience. All I got for my trouble was a bloody cookie. Not that Red's cookies are bad. Quite tasty actually. But that's not the point. What was the point. I have no idea. Think I've said enough. My friends aren't the best at havin' peaceful or pleasant family meals. Holidays are even worse for 'em. They need to work that.
Right. Anyway. I'm immortal. So got all the time in the world to wait. Hopefully I'll get a more enjoyable family meal someday. Preferably one that doesn't include any crazy Supernatural crap. A nice meal with some tasty Christmas cookies wouldn't hurt either.
